Most churches are invisible on the internet
People use their phones to find restaurants, doctors and schools. When they look for a church they hit outdated websites, dead Facebook pages or nothing at all. Service times, sermons and directions are scattered or missing.
A first-time visitor who can't find the address won't show up. A member who missed an event because nobody told them pulls back a little. Enough of that and the church stops growing. It's worth attending; people just can't see it.

The first screen sets the tone
Someone opening the app on a Saturday night knows right away what's happening tomorrow: service time, latest sermon, next event. A new visitor shouldn't have to hunt for it.
